Welcome to Nurture Counseling, PLLC

Jessica Valladares, MS, LPC, LMHC - Owner and Therapist

I started Nurture Counseling because I care deeply about supporting people through life’s big changes, especially the ones that come with pregnancy, postpartum, and motherhood. Becoming a therapist wasn’t just something I studied in school. It comes from my own experiences navigating life’s messy and overwhelming seasons. I know what it’s like to feel stretched thin, uncertain, or just plain exhausted. I wanted to create a space where people could feel seen, heard, and not judged.

I work with individuals and parents who are trying to find their footing while life feels like it is moving too fast. Whether you are expecting, adjusting to life after a baby, or just trying to keep all the pieces together, my goal is to help you find clarity and a little bit of ease along the way. Therapy is not about doing everything perfectly. It is about showing up as you are and figuring out what helps you feel more like yourself again.

I also have advanced training to provide psychological evaluations for immigration cases, and I approach this work with the same compassion, cultural humility, and respect that guide all of my clinical care.

Katerina Oskolkoff, LPC, MBE Facilitator, RYT® 200, EMDRIA Certified Therapist™

Hey, I’m Katerina. I work with moms navigating the messy, beautiful, and sometimes wild ride of motherhood. We look forward to this—pregnancy, birth, starting a family—and then…it’s different than we imagined. Beautiful, yes, but chaotic, surprising, and sometimes overwhelming. Those moments when you feel like you should have it all together but instead find yourself hiding in the pantry just to breathe, or laughing at something ridiculous while also feeling completely undone inside. The jealousy, the irritability, the exhaustion, the old stuff that pops up—yeah, that stuff. You can bring it here. I’ve seen it all, and I’m here for it.

I’m EMDR certified, PIT trained, and a RYT 200 yoga instructor. I bring a trauma-informed, body-centered approach to help you make sense of the chaos, reconnect with your body and mind, and create systems that actually fit your nature—inside and out.

Whether it’s pregnancy stress, birth trauma, old trauma resurfacing, or just the everyday overwhelm of being a mom, I’ll talk you through it. No judgment. No pretending it’s all perfect. Just real, grounded support so you can feel lighter, stronger, and more yourself again.
